Wrinkle Relaxers
What are Wrinkle Relaxers?
Wrinkle Relaxers are a purified protein containing botulinum toxin extract, which causes temporary muscle paralysis and weakening. They are generally well tolerated in minuscule amounts administered for cosmetic use.
How do Wrinkle Relaxers work?
A very small dose of wrinkle relaxer is injected into the required muscles that are causing lines and wrinkles. Once the muscles are relaxed and paralysed, the overlying wrinkles in the injected area will become temporarily less obvious.
The treatment takes around 10-15 minutes and is minimally invasive and relatively pain-free. During the treatment, a small amount of wrinkle relaxer is injected using a tiny needle into the muscles that need to be relaxed. There is no downtime at all.
How quickly do I see the results from Wrinkle Relaxers?
You may notice the results in just 2-3 days. The peak effect is between 14-21 days after treatment. If you decide not to continue your Wrinkle Relaxer treatment, your muscle activity will gradually return and your wrinkles will slowly reappear. Your wrinkles will not be worse than your pre-treatment state.
With regular treatment, the wrinkles will become more “permanently” softer for a prolonged period of time.
It is an excellent treatment for ‘dynamic’ wrinkles such as crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead lines.
Wrinkle Relaxers have been safely used for many years to decrease facial wrinkles and lines leaving you with younger and more refreshed face and neck.

What results should I expect?
Few days after treatment, when the areas are relaxed, the skin around the area will look smooth and less wrinkled. Wrinkle Relaxers allow the untreated areas to move as normal. You will still be able to laugh, smile and frown, just with less wrinkling of the skin in the treated areas.
